We are Han and Loes Kuyt and have two sons: Rolf en Nick. Our biggest hobby is our Labrador Retrievers. Occasionally we breed a nest following the guidelines of the NLV (Dutch Labrador Club), of which we are member. We try to breed beautiful and healthy dogs, but we also try to maintain the typical labrador characteristics: a good hunt dog, with a good attitude for learning and eager to pleasing his boss.
All our dogs live in our home and are a part of the family. Our puppies grow up in our living area: the greatest thing there is! Socialisation of the puppies is very important to us. By staying with us in the living area, they learn all the daily life sounds like television, radio, vacuumcleaner, playing kids, etc. We enjoy showing and working with our dogs.
We are especially proud of our Sanne. She is Dutch Champion and has the well known Winner title. She was first at the Crufts in England. We can proudly say, that she was first Dutch labrador ever achieving such a title!
We train our dogs in hunt, field test and obedience in Holten, which gives us much pleasure and relaxation. What is more pleasant than working in natural surroundings with your labrador? We enjoy having our labradors around us all day. We take them with us on holiday as much as possible. A favorite destination of us is the Belgium Ardennes, where we spend a lot of long weekends. A favorite activity of us there is hiking for hours with the dogs along rivers and through forest.
